Your Creator Profile
Set your profile by calling updateProfile(displayName, metadataURI) on KangarooCreatorRegistry. metadataURI can point to a JSON file with bio, avatar, website, social links — the app displays these on your creator page.
- displayName — shown on all your market cards and creator page.
- metadataURI — JSON metadata with optional: bio, avatarUrl, websiteUrl, xUrl, telegramUrl, discordUrl.
- verified — set by protocol team; shows a verified checkmark on your profile.
- maxFeeOverrideBps — protocol can grant specific creators a higher fee ceiling than the global 50 bps max.
Creator Stats (On-Chain)
Every market event updates your stats in real time. These are stored in the CreatorStats struct and readable by anyone:
- marketsCreated — total markets you have deployed.
- seriesCreated — total recurring series you have created.
- marketsClosed — total markets that have been closed (quality signal).
- totalVolumeKUSD — cumulative KUSD traded across all your markets.
- totalCreatorFeesKUSD — cumulative creator fees you have earned.
- totalParticipants — unique wallet addresses that have traded in your markets.
- followerCount — wallets that have called followCreator(yourAddress).
- reputationScore — off-chain computed, written on-chain by the protocol team.
Creator Following
Users can follow you as a creator by calling followCreator(yourAddress) on-chain. This increments your followerCount. The app surfaces follower counts on all creator pages and uses them as a discovery signal in market rankings.
Creator following is a long-term signal. Creators who maintain consistent, high-quality market selection see higher organic follower growth than creators who launch many low-engagement markets.
Market Quality Score
When a market is closed, the router calls recordMarketClosed(creator, marketId, qualityScore). The quality score is computed from factors like participation rate, volume depth, and sentiment volatility during the trading window. High-quality markets from consistent creators reinforce reputation.
