Portfolio Overview
The portfolio dashboard shows three buckets of positions:
- Open — answer tokens you hold in currently active markets.
- Closed — markets that have ended. Your tokens are now redeemable.
- Redeemable — closed positions with non-zero KUSD available to claim.
KUSD Balance
Your KUSD balance is shown in real time. Deposit USDT to increase it; withdraw KUSD to convert back. Both operations interact directly with the KangarooUSD contract — no fee, no slippage, 1:1 exchange.
Position Value
Open position value is estimated from the current AMM quote: how much KUSD you would receive if you sold all your tokens right now via KSwap, minus fees. This is an estimate — the actual sell quote depends on live reserves and backedAvailable at execution time.
Partial sell risk
If backed liquidity in a pool is low relative to your position size, KSwap may only execute a partial sell. Always check backed availability before expecting full exit.
Redeeming a Closed Position
- 1. Open Portfolio and navigate to the Closed tab.
- 2. Find the market and answer with a Redeem button.
- 3. Click Redeem — the app calls redeemClosedPosition(marketId, answerId, tokenAmount, minKusdOut).
- 4. Confirm the transaction in your wallet.
- 5. Your answer tokens are burned and KUSD is transferred to your wallet.
